Ground Flaxseed
Freshly ground flaxseed (linseed) can be used to supplement horse diets with oil (fat), protein and amino acids. Ground flax seed is an especially good source of omega 3 fatty acids, which boost the immune system and improve skin health and hair bloom. Daily addition of ground flax seed is thought to aid movement of feedstuff through the intestinal tract.
